Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, solution architecture capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to guide delivery teams in implementing scalable, secure, and business-aligned ServiceNow solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end ServiceNow solutions across one or more platform modules.
  • Define solution architecture, technical design, and integration approaches aligned with ServiceNow best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from solution design to production deployment.
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom ServiceNow applications using:
    • Customer Service Management (CSM)
    • IT Service Management (ITSM)
    • IT Operations Management (ITOM)
    • App Engine (Custom Applications)
  • Configure and manage ServiceNow modules, workflows, UI Policies, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and other platform components.
  • Develop and maintain server-side and client-side scripts using JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting frameworks.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise systems such as LDAP, Active Directory, and third-party applications using REST, SOAP, and other web service APIs.
  • Implement OpenAI integrations and ServiceNow Now Assist capabilities.
  • Review technical designs, customizations, and code to ensure quality, scalability, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
  • Implement platform security, performance optimization, and governance standards.
  • Plan and support ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and platform maintenance activities.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture documents, and knowledge transfer materials.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to project teams.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10–12 years of overall IT experience with 5–8 years of relevant ServiceNow experience.

    • ServiceNow Platform Architecture
    • ServiceNow Development
    • Solution Design
    • Technical Leadership
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • ITSM
    • ITOM
    • Customer Service Management (CSM)
    • App Engine
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • ServiceNow Now Assist (Mandatory)
    • OpenAI integration with ServiceNow
    • JavaScript (Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Scripts)
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with:
    • REST APIs
    • SOAP Web Services
    • LDAP
    • Active Directory
    • Third-party enterprise applications
  • Experience implementing platform security, governance, and performance optimization.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and release management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (B.Tech./B.E.)
  • MCA is also acceptable.
