Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to drive business development and strategic sales initiatives across Digital Government, Smart Cities, Security & Surveillance, and Biometrics domains. The ideal candidate should possess strong strategic account management capabilities, government sector exposure, and a proven ability to drive large-scale solution sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development initiatives across Digital Government, Smart Cities, Security & Surveillance, and Biometrics solutions
- Generate business opportunities from Central & State Government and donor-funded projects
- Develop business plans and achieve annual sales and revenue targets
- Manage strategic accounts and drive opportunity planning
- Build and maintain executive-level client relationships
- Lead RFP responses and proposal management activities
- Develop alliances with System Integrators, Channel Partners, and Distributors
- Support conceptualization and execution of large-scale SI and consulting projects
Required Skills & Experience
- 12+ years of experience in Sales and Business Development
- Strong expertise in Strategic Account Sales
- Domain experience in Digital Government, Smart Cities, Security & Surveillance, and Biometrics
- Experience working with Big4 consulting firms, OEMs, or System Integrators preferred
- Strong understanding of the SI industry, solutioning, and delivery models
Preferred Background
- Proven track record of closing large Digital Government engagements in India or South Asia
- Strong executive-level stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Ability to position solutions and secure long-term business commitments
Education
- MBA (Sales & Marketing preferred)
- B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science, Systems, or equivalent
