Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Architect – Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA) / CPQ to design and build an AI-powered Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) platform that unifies the Salesforce ecosystem across Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Service Cloud, and Revenue Cloud Advanced.
The ideal candidate will own the architecture for CPQ, Billing, and Subscription Management, while designing scalable solutions for product catalog management, quoting, billing, revenue recognition, and integrations with downstream financial systems. The role requires strong stakeholder management and the ability to work across product, technology, brand, ERP, and Data Cloud teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the solution architect for Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA), CPQ, and Billing within the broader Salesforce platform architecture.
- Translate pricing, quoting, billing, and subscription requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions and document solution architecture, system architecture, and entity relationship diagrams.
- Configure and design products, pricing, product bundles, product rules, price rules, quote templates, approval flows, discounting structures, and guided selling processes.
- Design subscription and recurring revenue models, including usage-based products, amendments, renewals, billing, invoicing, tax handling, collections, and revenue recognition.
- Design integrations between Revenue Cloud, ERP systems, payment gateways, and tax engines using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware such as MuleSoft or Boomi.
- Guide buy-vs-build decisions for Quote-to-Cash capabilities and support automation and approval processes to improve the quote-to-order lifecycle.
- Prepare configuration runbooks, technical documentation, and training materials; lead knowledge transfer to development teams and support Flosum/CI-CD deployment practices.
- Support go-live, hypercare, and post-implementation enhancements across migrating brands within a multi-brand delivery environment.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of Salesforce experience with deep hands-on expertise in Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA), CPQ, and Billing.
- Proven experience leading end-to-end Quote-to-Cash implementations, from discovery through go-live.
- Strong experience with subscription billing, invoicing, payment schedules, tax handling, collections workflows, usage-based billing, amendments, and renewals.
- Working knowledge of revenue recognition processes and compliance requirements.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware such as MuleSoft or Boomi.
- Exposure to AI, Generative AI, predictive analytics, or intelligent automation.
- Familiarity with Agentforce and the application of AI-driven automation within Quote-to-Cash processes.
- Experience working within multi-brand, multi-org Salesforce consolidation programs and distributed cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions to executive and non-technical stakeholders.
Certifications
- Active Salesforce certifications are required or strongly preferred, including:
- Revenue Cloud or equivalent
- Application Architect
- Platform Developer I & II
- Integration Architecture Designer
- Agentforce Certification is an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with large-scale Salesforce platform consolidation or brand migration programs.
- Exposure to Data Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud within a shared enterprise Salesforce environment.
- Experience with Flosum or similar CI/CD and test automation tools within Salesforce DevOps pipelines.
