Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Python Tech Lead to drive the architecture, design, and delivery of AI-enabled, cloud-native applications. This role combines deep hands-on Python expertise with technical leadership and ownership of scalable systems integrating Generative AI, LLMs, and modern backend architectures.
As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for end-to-end technical decision-making, mentoring engineering teams, ensuring production-grade AI integration, and aligning engineering practices with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable backend systems and AI-powered applications
- Design and implement cloud-native, microservices-based solutions
- Drive the development and deployment of Generative AI and LLM-integrated applications
- Design and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows and vector search systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps and solution architectures
- Mentor and guide developers through code reviews, technical discussions, and best practices
- Ensure application scalability, security, performance, and reliability
- Oversee CI/CD implementation, infrastructure automation, and deployment processes
- Drive technical innovation and adoption of modern engineering practices
Required Skills & Experience
- 7–10+ years of strong hands-on experience in Python (3.10+)
- Proven experience architecting and building scalable backend systems
- Strong experience developing and deploying AI/LLM-integrated applications
- Hands-on expertise with FastAPI, Flask, or Django
- Experience designing and implementing RAG workflows and vector search solutions
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong database expertise with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Strong understanding of API security, scalability, and performance optimization
- Proven experience mentoring engineers and leading technical discussions
- Exposure to AI agent frameworks and workflow orchestration tools
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, or ChromaDB
- Experience in client-facing or services delivery environments
- Contributions to open-source AI or backend development projects
- Exposure to advanced AI orchestration and agentic AI frameworks

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Relevant cloud, AI/ML, or architecture certifications are an added advantage
