Role Overview
We are hiring a hands-on DevOps Engineer with 4–7 years of experience to manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and production systems. This role focuses on building scalable, reliable, and automated environments, with a strong emphasis on Azure, containerization, and infrastructure automation.
The ideal candidate should have an automation-first mindset and a solid understanding of modern DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud & Infrastructure
- Manage and support Microsoft Azure (primary cloud), including:
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Azure DevOps and Azure Pipelines
- Networking, IAM, storage, and monitoring
- Work with AWS / GCP (basic exposure)
- Support hybrid and on-premise environments
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security
CI/CD & Automation
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using:
- Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
- Automate workflows using Bash, Python, or PowerShell
Containerization & Orchestration
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting)
- Support application deployments and cluster operations
Monitoring & Production Support
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and reliability
- Use tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, and New Relic
- Handle incidents, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA)
- Maintain observability, logging, and alerting systems
Cost Optimization & Security
- Track cloud usage and suggest cost optimizations
- Support FinOps practices
- Implement security best practices and secure CI/CD pipelines
- Assist in compliance and vulnerability management
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
- 4–7 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- Azure (preferred)
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Terraform (IaC)
- CI/CD pipelines
- Basic knowledge of AWS / GCP
- Understanding of:
- Networking (VPC/VNet, load balancers)
- Monitoring and logging
- High availability and scalability
Automation & Operations
- Strong automation mindset
- Experience in scripting and reducing manual efforts
- Good troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Experience working with production environments
Soft Skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Proactive and ownership-driven approach
- Comfortable working in a WFO setup in Gurugram
Good-to-Have Skills
- GitOps tools (ArgoCD / FluxCD)
- Serverless technologies (Azure Functions / AWS Lambda)
- Exposure to FinOps practices
- Service mesh tools (Istio / Linkerd)
Education
- Postgraduate degree (Master’s or equivalent)
