Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Lotus Notes / Domino XPages Developer to design, develop, maintain, and support business applications on the IBM Domino / HCL Notes platform. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Lotus Notes, Domino, XPages, JavaScript, SSJS, and Domino Designer, along with good application support and troubleshooting skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and support applications using IBM Domino / HCL Notes / XPages.
- Customize and enhance existing Lotus Notes applications, including forms, views, agents, subforms, and workflows.
- Develop XPages applications using JavaScript, SSJS, and managed beans.
- Integrate Domino applications with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.
- Perform application testing, deployment support, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with business users and internal teams for enhancements and issue resolution.
- Support knowledge transfer and work independently across multiple tasks.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in Lotus Notes / Domino application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Lotus Notes / Domino and XPages.
- Good knowledge of Domino Designer.
- Strong experience with:
- JavaScript & Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS)
- LotusScript
- Formula Language
- HTML & CSS
- REST/SOAP Web Services
- Experience writing SQL queries for SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Working knowledge of IIS.
- Good understanding of Web Services protocols, API design, extensibility, and portability.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in Domino / Lotus Notes application development.
