Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Security Engineer with strong expertise in AWS and Azure Cloud Security. The ideal candidate will be responsible for securing cloud environments through security assessments, vulnerability management, threat detection, incident response, and compliance governance. This role requires close collaboration with development, DevOps, infrastructure, and network teams to enhance the organization’s cloud security posture and ensure compliance with industry standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct security assessments of AWS cloud environments to identify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and compliance gaps, while providing remediation recommendations and validating security fixes.
  • Configure, monitor, and manage AWS security services including Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector, IAM, CloudTrail, AWS Config, WAF, and Shield to detect threats and strengthen cloud security.
  • Support Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), prioritize security findings based on business risk, coordinate remediation activities, and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for security incidents.
  • Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM), implement least-privilege access and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and ensure secure configuration of cloud resources.
  • Support security audits, compliance initiatives, and governance activities aligned with ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR, and organizational security policies.
  • Prepare security dashboards, reports, and management updates while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve cloud security, application security, and incident response processes.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–10 years of experience in Cloud Security, Cybersecurity, or Information Security.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS Security Architecture and cloud security best practices.
  • Experience with AWS security services including:
    • AWS Security Hub
    • Amazon GuardDuty
    • Amazon Inspector
    • AWS IAM
    • AWS CloudTrail
    • AWS Config
    • AWS WAF
    • AWS Shield
  • Knowledge of AWS and Azure Cloud Security.
  • Experience conducting AWS Security Assessments and implementing remediation activities.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Vulnerability Management and VAPT
    • CVE, CVSS scoring, and CIS Benchmarks
    • Identity and Access Management (IAM)
    • Application and Network Security
    • Security Monitoring and Incident Response
    • Threat Detection and Risk Management
  • Experience supporting security audits and compliance frameworks including ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, and GDPR.
  • Strong documentation, reporting, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with DevOps and cloud engineering teams.
  • Knowledge of secure configuration management and cloud governance.
  • Familiarity with security automation and continuous compliance practices.
  • Experience in enterprise cloud environments and security operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related discipline.
