We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance Azure cloud solutions.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Azure architecture and cloud security, along with experience in upstream engagement phases, including proposals, requirements gathering, and solution design. Japanese language proficiency is preferred. The candidate should demonstrate proactive problem-solving, ownership, and flexibility while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Lead the architecture and development of high-quality, scalable, and performance-focused software solutions based on .NET/J2EE.
Design and lead Azure cloud architecture, including Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.
Develop and maintain Azure-based solutions with a strong focus on cloud security best practices.
Prepare technical specifications and software designs based on high-level product requirements.
Own Azure infrastructure design, provide technical direction, and mentor teams working on Azure services.
Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owners to ensure functional requirements are met.
Design and develop Proofs of Concept (POCs) as required.
Identify project risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Participate in design reviews, recommend improvements, and introduce technologies that enhance quality and productivity.
Drive continuous improvement in development processes and provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to the team.
10–15 years of experience in IT, data architecture, engineering, and warehousing, with 8–10 years of Azure Cloud experience.
Strong hands-on expertise in Azure Cloud Architecture and Security.
Solid understanding of core Azure services, including Azure Compute, Networking, Storage, Azure AD, and ARM Templates.
Proven experience in cloud-to-cloud migration projects, such as AWS to Azure or GCP to Azure.
Expertise in designing scalable, secure, and highly available Azure solutions.
Strong experience in upstream project phases, including proposal development, requirements gathering, and solution design.
Experience with DevOps orchestration, configuration management, and continuous integration.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and related DevOps tools.
Experience working in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Strong hands-on experience with SQL or other database technologies.
Japanese language capability is preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within tight timelines.
Proactive, innovative, and collaborative approach with a commitment to continuous learning.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional and risk management teams.
Experience working with non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working with Japanese-oriented companies or clients.
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Cloud or Data Architecture certifications are preferred.
