Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Amazon Q Developer Lead / Architect to drive AI-powered software development transformation using Amazon Q Developer and AWS cloud services.
The candidate will be responsible for enabling AI-assisted software engineering, improving developer productivity, modernizing applications, automating code generation, and integrating GenAI-driven practices across the SDLC.
The role requires strong expertise in AWS, solution architecture, DevOps, application modernization, and Generative AI, along with hands-on experience implementing Amazon Q Developer in enterprise development environments.
Language Requirement: Business-level Japanese (JLPT N2/N1 preferred) along with strong English communication skills for collaboration with Japanese clients and global delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
Amazon Q Developer Enablement
- Lead enterprise adoption of Amazon Q Developer across development teams.
- Design and implement AI-assisted software engineering solutions.
- Enable developers to leverage AI for code generation, explanation, documentation, testing, debugging, and optimization.
- Establish best practices, governance, and standards for GenAI-assisted development.
AI-Powered SDLC Transformation
- Integrate Amazon Q Developer across various SDLC phases.
- Drive developer productivity and engineering efficiency through AI-enabled practices.
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve software development workflows.
Application Modernization
- Assess legacy applications and develop cloud modernization strategies using Amazon Q Developer.
- Support code transformation from legacy technologies to modern cloud-native architectures.
- Assist development teams with refactoring, performance tuning, and application modernization.
Cloud & Solution Architecture
- Design scalable, secure, and cloud-native solutions using AWS.
- Define architecture patterns for AI-enabled software delivery platforms.
- Ensure solutions follow appropriate cloud architecture and security practices.
DevOps & Platform Engineering
- Integrate Amazon Q Developer with GitHub, Bitbucket, JIRA, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and AWS CodeBuild.
- Automate and optimize CI/CD pipelines using AI-assisted recommendations.
- Support DevOps automation and platform engineering initiatives.

- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Q Developer.
